COMMENTS: This magic piece of music is still nearly unknown, barely any cellists know about its existence. This part is fully adapted for the modern double bass with scordatura transp. in F (cGDA) and in my personal opinion, there is no alternative for this scordatura in F, regarding neither the playability nor the sound color, which wouldn't have this clarity in GDAE tuning.
