COMMENTS: My own arrangement of this very cool piece (originally composed for piano solo). "Péchés de vieillesse" is a collection of late Maestro Rossini's works. It contains mainly short pieces for piano solo, but this one works surprisingly well in this version for double bass (only with high scordaturas) & piano, or for cello & piano. I have adapted it 2013, but performed this beautiful version so far only one single time in a concert, for a very special occasion:
